Treebones is a busy year-round hospitality establishment and there may be current openings in the areas of housekeeping, kitchen/restaurant, front desk, grounds, maintenance, and gardening.

There are two ways to join the Treebones family:

1. Fill out the Application for Employment and mail or fax (805-927-2829) it to us along with your resume. Sometimes there is the possibility of on-site housing with full time employment.

2. Fill out the Volunteer Application. This is a casually organized apprenticeship where successful applicants volunteer their labor in exchange for housing, food, and gained work experience in one of many different areas related to the running of a busy, eco-conscious vacation resort. There is a month ‘trial period’ , after which, productive and enthusiastic volunteers will be asked to consider a commitment of three months total stay.

In both above scenarios we encourage potential applicants to thoroughly acquaint themselves with Treebones objectives of helpful hospitality and personable guest service in a remote environment. While many are attracted to Treebones because of our extremely dramatic & beautiful setting we encourage you to seriously consider the factors of remote and isolated living when you apply. This type of working environment, though dreamed of by many is truly accomplished by few, since the rigors of remote and rustic living are simply not for everyone!
