Campsite with Human Nest or The Twig Hut

Campsites with Human Nest or The Twig Hug Beginning at $238.
Two adult guests. Minimum two nights.

Our exclusive HUMAN NEST offers one of the best views at Treebones. Are you ready to go beyond the comforts of a yurt and fall asleep cradled in a human-sized nest?

This unusual wood-art was created & built by Big Sur artist Jayson Fann.

Bring your own sleeping bags & other gear for this night aloft.

This is a walk-in campsite – You haul your own sleeping bags and pillows in for the night (weather permitting) and pitch your tent nearby in case of wind or rain!

It includes private use of the hand woven nest and comes with a full- sized futon pad inside. There is a picnic table & outdoor cook station nearby, with restrooms and water access a stroll away. The Nest has a wood ladder access.

No dogs permitted in campsites, or left in cars.

Human Nest is NOT rainproof – bring a tent to set up in case of inclement weather!

Warning: you will be sleeping with wildlife….raccoons, bats and sometimes field mice find their way into these outdoor structures too!
