Treebones is temporarily closed.
(Projected opening of May 1st)
Safety and cleanliness has always been our first priority at Treebones. In response to the global health crisis of COVID-19 we have taken extra precautions around sterilization and social distancing to help ensure the health of our guests, staff and community.
While there are currently no reported cases of COVID-19 / coronavirus in the Big Sur area, the County of Monterey has issued a “Shelter in Place” order beginning March 18th 2020 through April 8th 2020 to mitigate the spread. As a non-essential business we have decided to close until the Shelter in Place order is lifted and it is safe to welcome guests back. At that time we will continue implementing strict, out of the ordinary, sanitation regimens and social distancing practices for as long as necessary. This may include limiting the number of guests in the lodge at one time, food take-out and room service only, and other extraordinary precautions around sanitizing specific to mitigating the spread of coronavirus.
We are contacting all guests holding a reservation between now and April 8th, with the option to either cancel or reschedule.
We know that Treebones has become a special place for many of our guests and we want you to know that we appreciate you and are looking forward to hosting you again once life normalizes. We will remain the same great place to get away, disconnect, enjoy nature and just breathe!
